We have had the same site since our launch two and a half years ago and it was beginning to look a little, how should we say, dated. It’s tough trying to find the time to work on your own marketing materials but we decided we needed to put our nose to the grindstone and finally get this thing underway. Below we have outlined the credits for the project, some stills, and the roll we played in the project. If you are interested in more technical details and design process of the project head on over to this LogicBomb Laboratory article to learn more.
About the Project
Recently, in partnership with Spitfire Media Group, we successfully launched ourcardmember.com which showcases businesses in small towns around Georgia. We were contracted to create all pre-planning documents, manage the IA (interface architecture), and to perform all PHP / Flash development of the site. OURcard required a fairly quick turn on the project so the design and coding were completed in tandem. Spitfire Media Group began working on the design while we worked on the database architecture and PHP-driven logic. Once designs and logic were completed we applied the awesome design work from Spitfire Media Group to our logic, completed testing, and launched the site.
About the Project
We visited Travel Channel in Washington D.C. to plan for one of the coolest projects we have worked on. The project was an interactive player that streamed a feed from webcams on the set of the show Ghost Adventures – all live. Technically, there were a lot of things going on to get the feed from the camera crews, to satellite feeds, to the internet cloud, out to hundreds of thousands of viewers all in hopes of catching a spooky horror on camera. While Travel Channel focused on getting the feeds to the cloud we focused on getting the feed to the viewers while giving them a little interactive fun.
About the Project
Sanitation is no laughing matter and the folks at PureGreen have some awesome all natural (no really) cleaning solutions for all types of industries. They wanted to launch an online store to better serve their existing customers with an easy reordering tool while providing a way for new customers to make purchases. The site features some fantastic design work by Ben Davis from Spitfire Media Group who really did a nice job keeping the site structured while giving it an organic feel. We integrated some JavaScript to help fold up some of the longer content sections and coded in some moving elements to point users to the store.
About the Project
We were requested to integrate full-motion video into a project for SouthernLINC Wireless that showcases the benefits of the push to talk service. Four actors were employed to showcase the features of push to talk in different industries. We were provided a couple general ideas of how Red Clay wanted layout to look. We took those concepts from there, filled in the blanks, and added in some fun effects to make the site easy to navigate while exciting to use. It’s a great example of showcasing a service or product through a simple, but elegant, microsite.
