Candid Remote Desktop

Sometimes it's just easier to run things from the desktop without the need for a web browser. Currently we are bundling in our beta version of a Candid Remote Desktop in with the Candid Suite for free. Utilizing Adobe's AIR technology you are able to manipulate your gallery quickly and easily right from your desktop. Uploading images is a snap. Note: The Candid Remote Desktop depends on the Candid Web Manager to work. The Candid Web Manager must be installed and working for Candid Remote Desktop to work properly.

Because the Candid Media Player is so customizable we wanted to provide web developers and end users with a way to quickly manage multiple players, categories and media. Candid Web Manager uses PHP scripting language, ‘AJAX’ technology, and a mySQL database to manage, track, sort media and settings for unlimited players. Installation is a snap with a step-by-step manager will guide you throughout the process on your own server. Because this package only includes the player there is no management system for the media that you will be displaying. Unless you have intimate knowledge of XML and plan for only a single implementation we highly suggest that you learn more about our Candid Media Suite which includes the Candid Media Manager.
