Have you ever tried to use the webcam feature on a site and hear from a tester using a MacBook that his or her webcam was not being initialized? Below we may have the solution for you:
Nobody will argue that last year was a challenging one. With the tough economy, jobless rate, and some tough political decisions being tossed around we are looking forward to the clean slate of the New Year. So, welcome to 2010 everybody! LogicBomb Media has a few ‘resolutions’ that we have set for ourselves for 2010 that we can share with you:
Recently when trying to load our Wordpress blog posts into flash we had some trouble displaying html text in a textField. The problem was that by default, if html data is loaded into a Flash text field, the field will render all paragraphs with indents. I ran into many possible solutions while searching for an answer, and tried everything from setting the xml property prettyIndent, to writing out my xml on one line out of desperation. In the end it took a combination of techniques to get rid of the indent.
Unfortunately, we haven’t had the opportunity to meet with Eric Segalstad in person. Fortunately, with today’s technology, we were able to collaborate with this fantastic musician out of Burlington, Vermont. His end product captures the feeling of each scene perfectly. All the scenes have a different composition by Eric except for the Blog scene, which was due to a last minute change from us. (Originally the Blog page would take you out of the flash and onto the blog). We called him up and asked him to answer a few questions from us about his experience with this project and to see what else he is up to. Read on to learn a little more about Eric:

After brainstorming for a while about the theme of the site we came up with the ‘Robots vs. Nerds’ concept and took it to our buddy Josh Hunter to see what he thought. He immediately started throwing out new ideas and understood what we were trying to accomplish. His artistic talent brought the technical Flash to life and made the project breath. We asked him to answer a few questions for us and talk about his new company and book publications. Read on for the full interview:
